My interest for aircraft and whatnot really started off by dreams of being an astronaut, you know i did what a semi-intilegent 11 year old did, and googled how to become an astronaut, eventually coming to the realization that you needed 4k flight hours to even become an astronaut (sidenote: i forgot if thats even true) and it crushed my dreams. (sorta)
So I kind of decided fuck it, become a pilot. It was kind of a small interest at first until a few years later, I eventually found a game on sale for $15 which was ACE COMBAT 7: SKIES UNKNOWN
I played AC7 since I didn't have PC, and it was the closest I can get to a fighter jet sim (excluding war thunder) so I stuck with it up until I did get a pc (which wasn't until 2019-2020...?) To this day I still play it occasionally, only just to slightly progress through my ACE difficulty playthrough.
Eventually I did move on to PC.The first REAL flight simulator I ever played. DCS World, The first aircraft I ever bought was the F-15C. (That thing is the wingripper, pull slightly too hard without the airbreaks and bam no wings-), and then came the MiG-29 (thank you fae <3), they were both good respective aircraft one for your BVR, and the other for dogfighting / multirole combat. I also, have the F-15E Strike Eagle but honestly, I don't have the effort to learn that at the moment. (also this is all i can fit in this page boowomp)
